I have been in the fitness industry for about ten years and have had many different fitness experiences in and out of fitness clubs.
I really love the crowd that comes to Zumba because they really want to be there. It is about more than dropping a few pounds, and becomes about a lifestyle that can be addictive in a good way!
Our classes become a community of great people that greet and talk to each other. It is great to know that if you haven’t been there in a little while someone is going to miss you.
Our students sometimes come to us with many different challenges such as cancer, obesity, divorce, injury recovery and more. They are our heros because they find a way to keep the party going!
We respect and honor them by giving them the best class possible every time. Come join us!

I am going to start adding in a weekend class and trying out the yoga.
2012 is going to be a new year for me. I have been reading through your blogs and find them so inspirational, thank you for sharing your life. I have two sons (1 in the Navy as is his wife and they share a 7 month old son) and my youngest son is leaving this summer after high school graduation for the Air Force. With my children always the focus of my life...after reading your blogs...I have learned it is ok to make myself just as important. Actually...as a mom, wife and grandmother...it is my responsibility to myself and my family to be the best I can be. After all, we never quit being parents and never quit teaching our children (nor quit learning ourselves) and I want my children to love themselves! With all of this being said, my resolution this year is not to lose weight, be healthier or be more successful. My resolution is to start living! I am going to greet each day with a renewed outlook and take it as the blessing in which it was intended. I truly feel that every day is a new opportunity!

Learning the steps and routines in January of 2011. My goal was to get in better shape and lose weight before my niece’s wedding in April.
It took me two months to work up my courage to try Zumba in a class/ group setting. I started the week of March 1st.
I now go to class 2xs a week, three is my schedule allows for it. I love it! The people are very friendly and when I haven’t been there for a few times, everyone tells me how much I was missed. I can’t get all the steps and sometimes I am going forward when everyone else is going back, but it doesn’t matter. Debbie constantly tells us if we don’t get it, make it up. It takes the pressure off of us that we have to do everything perfectly..
I have been doing Zumba for over a year now. When I started I was close to a size 30. I am now wearing a size 22.
I am not on any diet pills or shake. I simply watch what I eat and go to Zumba.
Zumba fitness is what I do for myself. I have kept the weight off with a great deal of encouragement from my family, but most of all from my Zumba girlfriends at Dance Amor Fitness at Integral Ballroom.

soon after I delivered my little girl! I feel great and I am so glad that I kept moving through my pregnancy. People would ask me, should you be exercising in your condition and my answer was, “absolutely”!
The great thing about Deb’s Zumba classes is that it truly is about finding your fitness level and working from there. I was able to modify my movement, but still get a good workout.
Zumba fitness is a fun way to keep moving!
